Susan ended her Cloud County career in 1981 as the school’s all-time leading scorer in women’s basketball history with 865 points. She led Cloud to a 50-10 record over two seasons including a 28-4 campaign in 1979-80 capped by a trip to the NJCAA National Championship game where the Lady Thunderbirds fell to Truett-McConnell, GA. 63-61. Susan was named to the All-NJCAA National Tournament team in 1980 and was selected first-team All-Region VI and Academic All-Region VI in 1981.
