Deb served as volleyball coach from 1983-1997 and as softball coach from 1983-1991. Her career as a coach was highlighted by a Region VI Volleyball Championship in 1987 and a Region VI Softball Championship in 1989. Following each of those seasons, she was named Region VI Coach-Of-The-Year. Her 1989 softball team finished 3rd in the NJCAA National Tournament. Deb had a combined coaching record of 720 wins and 307 losses. She coached 43 All-Region VI and 8 NJCAA All-American athletes. Also a decorated athlete at CCCC, Monzon was an integral part of back-to-back Region VI Champion basketball teams and was named to the NJCAA National Basketball Tournament team in 1980. The 1980 team finished as the National Runner-up.
