A graduate of Collierville HS, TN. Ronnie became the most prolific scorer in Cloud County men’s basketball history. To this day he owns the single game (51), season (978), and career (1,483) scoring marks in CCCC history. He led the Thunderbirds to the Region VI Championship in 1980 and a trip to the NJCAA National Tournament. He was named first-team All-Region VI and NJCAA All-American. Ronnie went on to star at Washington State University and then professionally in New Zealand. He ended his playing career in 2001 as the all-time leading scorer in the history of New Zealand pro basketball.
