Stephanie Blackwell was a member of the Cloud County Volleyball program from 1994-1996. A Lawrence High School graduate, Blackwell stood at just 5’4” but her explosive athleticism allowed her to register 698 kills in her two-year career at Cloud County. As a sophomore in 1995, Blackwell led the T-Birds to a second-place finish at the Region VI Tournament. She was a first-team All-Region VI selection and a second-team NJCAA All-American that season. She ended her career at Cloud County as the all-time leader in career digs (558) and third all-time in kills (698). Following her time at Cloud County, Blackwell returned to her hometown of Lawrence, KS, and continued her volleyball career at the University of Kansas.
