Cloud County freshman Maddie Harold has been tabbed the Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference (KJCCC) Division 2 Pitcher of the Week, the conference announced on Tuesday, April 14.

Harold earned two wins in the circle in KJCCC play last week, leading the T-Birds to victories over Neosho County and Fort Scott. Harold pitched a complete game in a 13-3 victory over Neosho County, allowing just three earned runs on eight hits with nine strikeouts. The next day, Harold came out of the bullpen to throw 4.2 innings against Fort Scott, holding the Greyhounds to no runs on two hits with seven strikeouts. 

Across three games, Harold struck out 17 and finished the week with a 3.13 ERA.

Harold currently leads KJCCC D2 with 7.92 strikeouts per seven innings pitched.
