Scholastica Herman has been named the Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference (KJCCC) Women's Outdoor Track Athlete of the Week, the conference announced on Tuesday, March 31.
Herman was part of three event wins at the 2026 Mark A. Phillips Tiger Classic this past weekend, winning the 800 meters with a time of 2:16.53 and 1,500 meters with a time of 4:44.64. The freshman then went on to run the third leg of Cloud County's winning 4x400-meter relay, which finished with a time of 4:08.22.
Herman currently ranks second in the NJCAA in the 800 meters and ninth in the 1,500 meters, while the 4x400 relay time is the sixth-best in the NJCAA.
Cloud County returns to action on Thursday, April 2 and Friday, April 3 at the Midwest Classic and Multis in Emporia, Kansas.
