Cloud County Community College freshman Ian Razak has been named the Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference (KJCCC) West Division Pitcher of the Week, the conference announced on Tuesday, March 31. This is the second time this season Razak has gained conference pitcher of the week honors.

Razak improved to 4-0 on the season after leading the T-Birds to a 7-4 road victory over Dodge City Community College on March 26. Razak threw six scoreless innings, scattering eight hits and two walks while striking out five. The McPherson, Kansas native currently leads the KJCCC West with a 1.89 ERA through five starts, allowing just seven earned runs in 33.1 innings pitched.

Cloud County, ranked No. 4 in the latest NJCAA Division I Baseball Rankings, beat Dodge City in three of their four games played last week. Cloud County won March 26 by final scores of 13-0 in five innings and 7-4 in nine innings. After being edged in a tight 11-10 loss in game three on March 28, Cloud County dominated game four, winning by a final score of 28-6.

In improving to 29-3 on the season and 14-2 in KJCCC action, the T-Birds outscored the Conquistadors 58-21 and collected 68 hits during the four-game series. In the second game of the twinbill on Saturday, Cloud County established new program records for most runs and hits in a game. Cloud County's 28 runs broke the previous record of 26 set earlier this season in the team's 26-4 road win at Pratt on March 7, 2026. The T-Birds also smashed 27 hits in the game, topping the program's previous record of 24 hits that had stood since 1983.

There are three KJCCC teams in the top 25. Johnson County Community College (34-2) is ranked No. 1, while Hutchinson Community College (29-5) is ranked No. 12.

Cloud County will meet up with Hutchinson for a four-game series this week. The T-Birds and Blue Dragons will play two games at Lee Doyen Field in Concordia on Thursday, April 2, before heading to Hutchinson for a doubleheader on Saturday, April 4.
