An undefeated week has pushed the Cloud County Community College baseball team back up in the polls.
The T-Birds are No. 4 in the latest NJCAA Division I Baseball Rankings Presented by Netting Professionals. That is up two places from last week's rankings.
Cloud County is coming off a sweep of Colby Community College in a four-game Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference (KJCCC) series. The T-Birds won 13-3 and 12-11 on March 19 at home, and 17-11 and 19-3 in a pair of seven inning games on March 21.
The T-Birds, now ranked in the top ten in the country for the fifth consecutive week, currently sit at 26-2 overall and 11-1 in KJCCC action.
Cloud County will play its next KJCCC series against Dodge City Community College, beginning with a road doubleheader on Thursday, March 26 at 1 pm. The series will shift back to Concordia, Kansas for two games on Saturday, March 28, beginning at 1 pm. The T-Birds have won five straight matchups against the Conquistadors, including sweeping a four-game series in 2025.
