The Cloud County Community College men's indoor track and field team traveled to Topeka, Kansas for the Washburn University Ichabod Invitational, their final meet prior to the 2026 Region 6/Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference Indoor Track and Field Championships.
The Cloud County Men's 4x400M Relay team of freshmen
Gage Taylor,
Kamryn Jones,
Timmy Oladimeji and
Trystan Green finished second with a time of 3:19.05.
Sophomore
Barafa Abdulazis posted a runner-up finish in the Men's 600 Yard Run with a time of 1:12.52. Taylor was ninth overall in a time of 1:13.70.
Freshman
Keon Williams captured two top-10 performances at the meet. Williams placed sixth in the Men's 400M Dash with a time of 48.33, before adding a tenth place finish in the Men's 200M Dash with a time of 22.03.
Sophomore
Bailey Burns soared to an eighth place finish in the Men's Long Jump with a leap of 22'10.5".
Freshman
Nicholas Johnson recorded a national qualifying time of 1:56.13 in the Men's 800M Run.
The T-Birds will travel to Pittsburg, Kansas for the 2026 Region 6/Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference Indoor Track and Field Championships on February 21 and 22.
