Cloud County Men's Indoor Track & Field Team Has Seven Earn All-America Honors at NJCAA National Championships

The Cloud County Community College men's indoor track and field team concluded competition at the 2026 NJCAA Indoor Track & Field Championships with one national runner-up performance and seven earning All-America honors across the two-day meet in Topeka, Kansas.

Sophomore Alpha Mpofu placed second in the Men's 400M with a new program record time of 46.23.

Mpofu also represented Cloud County on the Men's 4x400M team along with freshman Keon Williams, sophomore Barafa Abdulazis and freshman Sonycko Ilet that clocked a new school record time of 3:10.07, finishing sixth overall.

In the Men's Long Jump, sophomore Bailey Burns jumped 23'11.5" to place seventh.

Freshman Kacper Kurzewski competed in the Men's Pole Vault, recording a height of 15'2.25" to place eighth.

Freshman Andy Cooper represented Cloud County in the Men's Heptathlon. Cooper made a strong showing for the program on the national stage, placing eighth individually with 4,499 total points.
