The Cloud County Community College men's track and field team opened the 2026 outdoor season at the Jayhawk Spring Fling hosted by the University of Kansas on Saturday, March 21.
Sophomore
Braylon Bittel won the Men's Discus Throw with a throw of 148'11". Freshman
Jadrian Riley placed third with a throw of 134'02", while sophomore
Asa Berry followed in fourth place with a toss of 133'8".
Berry placed third in the Men's Hammer Throw at 152'1", while Riley placed sixth with a throw of 114'11".
Sophomore
Andrew Bowman claimed second in the Men's Javelin Throw with a throw of 188'9". Bittel finished third with a throw of 172'10". Holman placed fifth at 159'8", followed by sophomore
Cody Sharp in sixth place with a mark of 152'3". Sophomore
Barafa Abdulazis placed ninth with a throw of 138'11."
Freshman
Jesus Baltazar claimed a second place finish in the Men's 1500M Run with a time of 4:23.99.
In the Men's Triple Jump, freshman
Jaymion Jones finished third with a leap of 45'8.5". Freshman
Evan Carr placed fifth with a jump of 42'6.25".
Jones added a ninth place finish in the Men's Long Jump with a mark of 21'7.25". Sophomore
Mory Diop finished in tenth place at 20'10.5".
Freshman
Kacper Kurzewski recorded a fourth place finish in the Men's Pole Vault at a height of 15'3".
In the Men's 110M Hurdles, freshman
Daiquan Monteith placed fifth in 15.70.
Freshman
Trystan Green ran 50.45 to place ninth in the Men's 400M.
The T-Birds will look to build on their opening outdoor meet as they head to Arkansas City, Kansas for the Mark A. Phillips Invitational on Saturday, March 28.
