Box Score The Cloud County Community College women's basketball team fell to Hutchinson Community College, 89-62, in Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference (KJCCC) play on Saturday, February 14 in Arley Bryant Gymnasium. The Blue Dragons outrebounded the T-Birds 50-35, and outscored Cloud County by a 48-30 margin in points in the paint.
Cloud County (10-14, 6-13 KJCCC) fell behind early as Hutchinson's defense forced the T-Birds into 10 first-half turnovers and limited Cloud County to 2-of-9 shooting from behind the arc. Hutchinson led by 16 at halftime with a 47-31 advantage.

Shea Wurtz with 5:55 left to play in the third quarter cut the lead to 11 points. Hutchinson answered with a 14-4 run to open up a 21-point edge at 69-48 headed to the fourth quarter.
The Blue Dragons had its largest lead midway through the fourth with a 30-point advantage at 84-54. The T-Birds would get no closer than 26 points the rest of the way.
Wurtz led Cloud County with 19 points after going 11-of-12 from the foul line. Wurtz added five rebounds. Freshman forward
