Box Score The Cloud County Community College women's basketball team fell behind by double-digits less than four minutes into the contest and never recovered in a 76-56 road loss at Coffeyville Community College in Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference (KJCCC) play on Wednesday, February 11.
The T-Birds (10-13, 6-12 KJCCC) trailed by as many as 24 points in both halves and were outrebounded on the night by a 51-28 margin, including 24-5 on the offensive glass. The Red Ravens outscored Cloud County 17-4 in second-chance points and held a 42-18 advantage in points in the paint.

Amanda Makela scored 16 points on 6-of-8 shooting from the field with four made three-pointers. Sophomore forward
Shea Wurtz collected her sixth double-double of the season with 12 points and a team-high 11 rebounds.
The T-Birds shot 17-of-46 (37.0 percent) from the field and 6-of-20 (30.0 percent) from behind the arc. Coffeyville shot 28-of-73 (38.4 percent) from the floor and 6-of-30 (20.0 percent) from three-point range.
Cloud County will next play Hutchinson Community College in KJCCC action on Saturday, February 14. The Blue Dragons have won five in a row following their 60-51 home win over No. 6 Dodge City Community College on February 11. Tip-off is scheduled for 2 pm.
