The Cloud County Community College women's basketball team will meet No. 11 Butler Community College in Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference (KJCCC) play on Wednesday, January 14.

Tip-off from Arley Bryant Gymnasium is set for 6 pm and the game will be streamed live on the T-Bird Sports Network with Spencer Farha on the call. Fans can also listen to the game on NCK 94.9, with Austin McNorton calling the action.

Cloud County comes into the contest with a 7-8 overall record and a 3-7 mark in KJCCC play following a 61-59 defeat at Garden City Community College on January 10. Garden City's Marshea Fisher scored on a game-winning layup with 1.9 seconds remaining to lift the Broncbusters to victory.

The T-Birds are now tasked with facing the Butler Grizzlies, who come to Concordia with a 15-1 overall record and a 9-1 record in KJCCC action. Butler upset No. 1 Dodge City Community College on January 10, 72-58, to hand the Conquistadors their first loss of the season. The Grizzlies have won six straight contests since losing their only game of the year to Garden City on December 3, 71-67.

Butler has won 14 consecutive meetings with Cloud County, dating back to 2019. The T-Birds last defeated the Grizzlies on February 14, 2018 with a 54-43 home victory.

Cloud County freshman guard Camiah Muldrow has earned KJCCC Division I Women's Basketball Player of the Week, the conference announced on Tuesday, January 13. This marks Muldrow's second weekly conference honor. She was previously named KJCCC DI Women's Basketball Player of the Week on November 11, 2025. Muldrow had an exceptional week, leading the T-Birds to a come-from-behind road win over Fort Hays Tech Northwest on January 7. Against the Tigers, Muldrow scored a game-high 32 points in 32 minutes of action. Muldrow shot 8-of-19 from the field, 3-of-5 from deep and 13-of-20 from the foul line. Against KJCCC rival Garden City on January 10, Muldrow led the charge again, totaling 20 points and four rebounds in Cloud County's narrow 61-59 loss. Muldrow has scored in double-digits in 13 straight games and has scored at least 10 points in 14 of Cloud County's first 15 games this season. She currently ranks second in the KJCCC in scoring at 20.1 points per game.

Sophomore forward Leila Washington recorded 11 points with a team-high nine rebounds in the team's loss at Garden City. A former KJCCC DI Women's Basketball Player of the Week, Washington is the team's No. 2 leading scorer at 13.5 points per game on a team-best 49.1 percent shooting from the floor. Washington is also averaging 7.7 rebounds and 1.3 blocked shots per game.

Sophomore forward Shea Wurtz added 10 points and pulled down eight rebounds in the game against Garden City. Wurtz is Cloud County's No. 3 leading scorer at 10.8 points per game while leading the T-Birds on the glass at 8.5 rebounds per game. Wurtz is also the team-leader in steals at 2.1 steals per contest.

Freshman forward Sofija Todorovic is also averaging in double-figures. Todorovic is scoring 10.1 points per game on 44.9 percent shooting to go with 5.8 rebounds per contest.

Following the game against Butler, Cloud County will complete its two-game homestand when the T-Birds welcome Independence Community College to Arley Bryant Gymnasium. The game is set for a 2 pm tip-off on Saturday, January 17. Saturday is also Hall of Fame day at Cloud County Community College. Cloud County Athletics is proud to announce the 2019 Cloud County men's outdoor track and field national championship team and the 2019 Cloud County men's cross country national championship team have been selected for induction to the Cloud County Athletics Hall of Fame. A Cloud County cross country and track and field alumni reunion has been scheduled for January 17 at 6 pm at Warehouse 315, located at 315 W. 5th Street in Concordia.
