The Cloud County Community College women's track and field team concluded competition in the 2025 season by placing fourth as a team at the NJCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships at Gowans Stadium in Hutchinson, Kansas. The T-Birds scored 82.33 points with five event wins.
Freshman sprinter
Maimuna Jallow, named the 2025 United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association Central Region Women's Track Athlete of the Year, won national championships in both the Women's 100M Dash and the Women's 200M Dash. Jallow earned a first place finish in the 100M Dash in a time of 11.56, while she took first overall in the Women's 200M Dash in a time of 22.92.
Sophomore
Rafiatu Nuhu took fifth overall in the Women's 200M Dash in a personal-record time of 23.43.
Nuhu captured a national championship in the Women's 400M Dash, finishing first overall in a time of 52.41. In the preliminaries, Nuhu set a new personal-record and new school record with a time of 51.46.
Jallow and Nuhu teamed with sophomores
Mercy Angaamchaab and
Nontokozo Ncube on the Women's 4x400M Relay team that established a new school record in a time of 3:34.05 to finish first overall.
The Cloud County women's 4x800M relay team also set a new school record and the second-best all-time NJCAA performance with a first place finish in a time of 8:47.04. Team members were Angaamchaab, Ncube, sophomore

Amanda Kotambe.
Anchike added a third place finish in the Women's 1,500M Run with a new school record time of 4:27.03.Â
Three Cloud County runners placed in the Women's 800M Run. Ncube led the pack with a fourth place finish in a time of 2:07.76. Anchike was sixth individually in a time of 2:08.74, while Angaamchaab placed eighth overall in a time of 2:09.93.
In the Women's Heptathlon, freshman
Tahlia Lienert earned a fifth place finish with 4,393 total points.
Freshman
Nanhi Pannu captured a sixth place finish in the Women's 400M Hurdles in a time of 1:01.42. Pannu set a new school record in the 400M Hurdles in the preliminaries with a time of 1:01.29.
Sophomore
Bradie Medina notched a sixth place finish in the Women's Pole Vault at a height of 11'6.25".
Freshman
Vivica Addison scored a sixth place finish in the Women's Javelin Throw at a distance of 139'5".
Sophomore
Chenessa Davis tied for eighth place overall in the Women's High Jump with a leap of 5'2.25".
At the meet, Cloud County head women's track and field coach Drew Mahin was recognized as the 2025 United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association Women's Track Coach of the Year, while Ted Schmitz was selected as the Women's Assistant Track Coach of the Year.
Iowa Western Community College won the women's national championship with 98 total points. Barton Community College finished as national runner-up with 90.33 points, while New Mexico Junior College placed third in the team standings with 84 points.
