The Cloud County Community College women's basketball team will travel west to face the Colby Trojans in Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference (KJCCC) play on Saturday, December 6.
Tip-off from the Colby Event Center is set for 1 pm. The game will be livestreamed by
Open Spaces Sports. Fans can also listen to the game on
NCK 94.9, with Austin McNorton calling the action.
Cloud County and Colby met three times last season. The two teams split their regular season series, while the Trojans earned a 56-55 win over the T-Birds in the first round of the 2025 Region 6 Women's Basketball Tournament.
The T-Birds are currently 4-5 on the year, which includes an 0-4 mark in KJCCC play. In their most recent game, Cloud County fell to No. 1 Dodge City Community College by a final score of 97-71 on November 29. After leading by one point at the half, Dodge City outscored Cloud County 58-33 in the second-half to pull away. Freshman guard
Camiah Muldrow led Cloud County with 28 points. Muldrow was a perfect 6-of-6 from the free-throw line. She also added six rebounds, three assists and three steals. Sophomore forward

Colby enters the contest with a record of 5-6. The Trojans have dropped two straight and three of their last four games to fall to 2-3 in KJCCC play. Among Colby's victories is a 57-24 win over Independence, and a 57-51 win at Barton Community College.
Cloud County is ranked No. 1 in the KJCCC in scoring, averaging 82.2 points per game while featuring the top three-point shooting team in the conference at 37.1 percent. The team hits 9.0 three-pointers on average, ranking sixth in the conference. Cloud County is also shooting a conference-best 74.1 percent from the free-throw line.
Muldrow has scored in double-digits in seven straight games and eight of the team's nine games played. Muldrow has topped the 20-point mark four times this season. Muldrow is the No. 3 leading scorer in the KJCCC with 19.4 points per game. She also leads the conference in free-throw percentage at 89.2 percent. Muldrow is 58-of-65 from the foul line this season.
Washington has scored in double-figures in all four KJCCC games so far. Washington is Cloud County's second-leading scorer, averaging 13.2 points per game on 50.0 percent shooting from the field while adding 8.0 rebounds and a conference-leading 1.3 blocked shots per game.
Todorovic is Cloud County's third leading scorer, averaging 12.4 points per game on a team-best 51.3 percent shooting from the floor. Todorovic adds 6.7 rebounds and 3.1 assists per game.
Wurtz has five double-doubles on the year and ranks second in the KJCCC in rebounding at 9.2 rebounds per game. Wurtz is averaging 11.9 points per game on 47.2 percent and leads the team with 2.7 steals per game.
