The Cloud County Community College women's basketball team will meet No. 1 Dodge City Community College for the first time this season when the Conquistadors come to Concordia on Saturday, November 29.

Cloud County comes into the contest with a 4-4 overall record and an 0-3 mark in Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference (KJCCC) play following an 86-81 road loss to Cowley College on November 25. For the contest, Cloud County shot 29-of-69 (42.0 percent) from the floor, 6-of-21 (28.6 percent) from three-point range, and 17-of-20 (85.0 percent) from the free-throw line, while committing 17 turnovers on the night.

The T-Birds are now tasked with facing defending Region 6 champions Dodge City Community College. The Conquistadors come to Concordia with a 7-0 overall record and a 2-0 mark in KJCCC action following wins over Barton Community College and Cowley College. Dodge City is ranked No. 1 in the latest NJCAA Division I Women's Basketball Rankings for the second consecutive week. This season marks the first time in program history the Conquistadors have topped the national rankings.
Cloud County leads the KJCCC in scoring at 83.6 points per game, while Dodge City ranks second in the conference in scoring, averaging 82.3 points per game. The Conquistadors feature the conference's top three-point shooting team at 38.7 percent with 98 made three-pointers on the season. Dodge City has four players averaging in double-figures, led by sophomores Jolie Mantz (14.0 ppg) and Manuela Piljevic (13.7 ppg).
Dodge City has won eight straight meetings over the T-Birds since 2022. Cloud County's last win in the series was an 87-55 home victory over the Conquistadors on December 13, 2021.
Muldrow continues to lead the T-Birds in scoring at 18.4 points per game, which ranks fourth best in the KJCCC. The freshman from Fairburn, Georgia has scored in double-digits in seven of the team's eight games this season. Muldrow is the top free-throw shooter in the conference at 88.1 percent while also leading the team with 4.1 assists per game.
Washington is Cloud County's second leading scorer at 13.4 points per game on 51.8 percent shooting from the floor. Washington finished one point away from her season-high against Cowley College, after previously totaling 20 points on 8-of-13 shooting against Neosho County Community College on November 7. Washington also ranks second on the team in rebounds at 8.6 rebounds per contest, and leads the team and the conference in blocked shots at 1.4 per game.
Todorovic is also averaging 13.4 points per game on a team-best 52.7 percent shooting from the field. Todorovic is also grabbing 7.3 rebounds per game and dishing out 3.4 assists per contest.
Coming off her first double-double in KJCCC play, Wurtz is averaging 12.6 points per game on 46.4 percent shooting while leading the team in rebounds (9.4 rpg) and steals (2.9 spg). Wurtz ranks second in the KJCCC in rebounding and sixth in the conference in steals.

Jelena Jankovic are averaging 9.9 and 8.3 points per game, respectively. Makela leads the team with 17 made three-pointers on 37.8 percent shooting from behind the arc, while Jankovic has 14 made three-pointers on 38.9 percent shooting from deep.
