After dropping two straight, the Cloud County Community College women's basketball team hits the road to Great Bend, Kansas to face the Barton Cougars on Wednesday, January 29.
Tipoff from Fleske Court and Barton Gymnasium is set for 5:30 pm. Fans can listen to the game on NCK 94.9, with Austin McNorton calling the action.
Cloud County fell to 12-7 overall and 7-7 in Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference action with a 77-69 home loss to No. 4 Dodge City Community College on January 25. The T-Birds had four players score in double-figures, led by freshman guard

The T-Birds are currently tied with Colby for seventh place in the KJCCC standings and hold a two-game edge over Barton.
Cloud County is 4-4 in road games this season and 3-4 in conference road games. The T-Birds have lost their last two road trips, falling to Butler Community College, 62-57, on January 15, before dropping a game to Seward County Community College, 68-41, on January 22.
In the first meeting between Cloud County and Barton this season, the T-Birds recorded a 70-44 victory inside Arley Bryant Gymnasium on November 26. The T-Birds limited Barton to only 11-of-56 (19.6 percent) made shots from the floor for the game, including a 3-of-33 (9.0 percent) performance from the field in the second-half. Bre Frazier ended the contest with a season-high 30 points on 66.7 percent shooting overall. Davis joined Frazier in double-figures with 11 points.
Barton enters the game with a record of 9-11 and 5-9 in Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference play. The Cougars recently ended a brief two-game losing skid with a decisive 64-41 home win over Garden City on January 25.
