The Cloud County Community College women's basketball team and head coach
Brett Erkenbrack have announced its full 2024-2025 schedule. The slate is highlighted by 16 home games and 13 road contests, including a pair of games against reigning NJCAA Division I women's basketball national champions, Hutchinson.
The T-Birds will open the season at home against Northern Oklahoma College-Tonkawa on Sunday, November 3 at 2 pm.
Cloud County will host Concordia University JV on Thursday, November 7 at 6 pm, before making a trip to Norfolk, Nebraska to face Northeast Community College on Saturday, November 9. The T-Birds will then return home to conclude its non-conference schedule against Kansas City Kansas Community College on Tuesday, November 12 at 6 pm, and Bethany College JV on Thursday, November 14 at 6 pm.
Cloud County opens Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference play against the Seward County Saints at home on Wednesday, November 20 at 6 pm, before traveling to Dodge City on Saturday, November 23 at 1 pm. Cloud County returns home for a game against the Barton Cougars on Tuesday, November 26 at 6 pm, before heading back on the road to face Fort Hays Tech - Northwest on Saturday, November 30, and Colby Community College on Wednesday, December 4.
Cloud County hosts Independence Community College on Saturday, December 7 at 2 pm. The T-Birds then play at Coffeyville on Wednesday, December 11, before welcoming the defending national champions, Hutchinson, to Concordia on Saturday, December 14 at 2 pm.
Following the holiday break, the T-Birds make a trip to Garden City on Saturday, January 4. Cloud County returns to Arley Bryant Gymnasium in Concordia on Saturday, January 11 for a 2 pm matchup with Cowley College. The T-Birds then head to Butler on Wednesday, January 15, followed by a home battle with Pratt Community College on Saturday, January 18 at 2 pm.
The T-Birds open the second half of conference play at Seward County on Wednesday, January 22. Cloud County hosts Dodge City on Saturday, January 25 at 2 pm, before heading back on the road to Barton on Wednesday, January 29.
Cloud County begins the month of February at home against Fort Hays Tech - Northwest on Saturday, February 1 at 2 pm, part of homecoming weekend at Cloud County Community College. The T-Birds will also host Colby on Wednesday, February 5 at 6 pm. On Saturday, February 8, the T-Birds make the trip to Independence. Cloud County hosts Coffeyville on Wednesday, February 12 at 6 pm, followed by a trip to Hutchinson on Saturday, February 15.
In its final stretch of conference games, Cloud County plays Garden City inside Arley Bryant Gymnasium on Wednesday, February 19 at 6 pm. Following a week off, the T-Birds then head to Cowley College on Wednesday, February 26. Cloud County closes out its home slate on Saturday, March 1 at 2 pm against the Butler Grizzlies. The T-Birds conclude conference play on Wednesday, March 5 at 5:30 pm at Pratt.
The 2025 NJCAA Region 6 Championship Tournament will follow, beginning on Saturday, March 8, while the 2025 NJCAA DI Women's Basketball Championship is scheduled for March 25-31, 2025 at the Ford Wyoming Center in Casper, Wyoming.
