Brooke Lougheed is a returning sophomore member of the Cloud County Community College volleyball team. A libero, Lougheed accumulated 128 assists as a freshman to finish third on the team to go with 238 digs and 29 service aces. She reached double-figure digs 11 times in 2025. Lougheed, a native of Spruce View, Alberta, Canada, is also a member of the T-Bird softball team.

WHAT MADE YOU CHOOSE CLOUD COUNTY COMMUNITY COLLEGE?
Cloud County has such a welcoming and supportive atmosphere. It gave me the opportunity to continue playing the two sports I love while also getting a good education. Plus, coach TJ is pretty cool, I guess.
WHAT DO YOU LIKE THE MOST ABOUT ATTENDING SCHOOL AT CLOUD COUNTY COMMUNITY COLLEGE?
I love the culture of Cloud County. The small class sizes, the connections you make, and how much you grow throughout your time here are some of my favorite parts of the college. It feels like everyone knows and supports each other, and it makes the school feel more like a community rather than just a place you go to class.
WHAT ARE YOUR PLANS AFTER GRADUATION?
I plan to move on to a four-year school to continue my academic and athletic career.
WHAT ADVICE WOULD YOU GIVE OTHER CLOUD COUNTY COMMUNITY COLLEGE STUDENTS?
Don't take your time here for granted because it goes by so fast. Make friends, get involved, and make the most of every day. Spend time with your roommates, play the card games, and enjoy the little moments. You'll miss them when they're gone.
