The Cloud County Community College women's and men's basketball games at Barton Community College have been rescheduled in anticipation of a snowstorm expected to arrive Friday, January 23 and last through the weekend.

The Cloud County women's basketball game at Barton has been moved to a 5:30 pm tip-off on Monday, January 26. The T-Birds' men's game against the Cougars will be played at 7:30 pm on Monday, January 26. Both games were originally scheduled to be played on Saturday, January 24.

The National Weather Service office in Wichita, Kansas has issued a Winter Storm Warning for the Great Bend, Kansas area from noon Friday to noon Sunday. Heavy snow is expected, with total snow accumulations between five and nine inches. Bitterly cold temperatures with wind chill values below zero are also expected through the weekend, which only increases the vulnerability when traveling. The National Weather Service is recommending travel be avoided, if possible, especially Friday night through midday Sunday.
