TiAna Davis, Talasia Thomas Receive Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference Postseason Honors

TiAna Davis and Talasia Thomas - 2025 All-KJCCC Second Team

Cloud County Community College women's basketball players TiAna Davis and Talasia Thomas have received Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference Division I Women's Basketball honors announced by the conference on Wednesday, March 19.

Davis, a sophomore guard from Austin, Texas, received second team honors as she averaged a team-high 12.3 points per game with 52 made three-pointers to go with 3.0 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 1.5 steals per game. Davis, a transfer from Shorter College, appeared in and started all 30 games for the T-Birds. Davis scored a season-high 31 points in Cloud County's 81-55 road victory over Coffeyville on December 11, 2024.

Thomas, a freshman forward from Pine Mountain, Georgia, also received second team honors. Thomas averaged 12.2 points per game on 46.6 percent shooting to go with a team-high 4.6 rebounds, 1.3 blocks and 1.7 steals per game. Thomas appeared in and started all 30 games for the T-Birds. Thomas ranked in the top-10 in the conference in field-goal percentage, defensive rebounds, total rebounds, and blocks. Thomas had six double-double performances, including a 22-point, 17-rebound effort in the team's 57-53 overtime win at Garden City on January 13, 2025.

Hailey Jackson of Hutchinson was voted All-KJCCC Division I Player of the Year, while Ashley Singhateh of Butler was named Freshman of the Year. Elysa Martinez of Cowley was voted Newcomer of the Year, while Shorna Preston of Dodge City and Ari Gordon of Seward County won co-Defensive Player of the Year. Landon Steele of Dodge City was named Coach of the Year.
