The Cloud County Community College women's basketball team will open Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference (KJCCC) play at home on Wednesday, November 19, hosting the Seward County Saints.
Tip-off from Arley Bryant Gymnasium is set for 6 pm. The game will be streamed live on the
T-Bird Sports Network with Spencer Farha on the call. Fans can also listen to the game on NCK 94.9, with Austin McNorton calling the action.
The T-Birds closed out non-conference play with a convincing 76-54 victory over North Platte Community College on November 15. Eight different players scored for Cloud County in the win. The T-Birds were led by freshman forwardÂ
Sofija Todorovic who tallied a season-high 25 points on 8-of-10 field goals, including drilling her only three-point attempt of the ballgame. Todorovic also made 8-of-10 foul shots. Along with Todorovic, freshman guardÂ
Camiah Muldrow was in double-figures with 16 points to go with eight rebounds. Sophomore forwardÂ

Amanda Makela provided eight points each. Washington added nine rebounds, while Makela finished with six rebounds and three steals. Freshman guardÂ
Jelena Jankovic netted seven points to go with four assists and three rebounds. Sophomore forwardÂ
Shea Wurtz grabbed a team-high 10 rebounds and added six points. Sophomore guardÂ

The win improved Cloud County to 4-1 heading into conference play. After dropping their season opener to Concordia University JV by three points, 85-82, Cloud County has recorded victories over Neosho County Community College (97-71), Northeastern Oklahoma A&M (95-74), Bethany College JV (87-59), and North Platte.
Muldrow leads Cloud County in scoring at 18.6 points per game. Muldrow has scored in double-digits in four of the team's five games this season, including posting a season-high 38 points against Northeastern Oklahoma A&M. Muldrow also leads the team with 4.4 assists per game while adding 5.6 rebounds per game.
Todorovic has reached double-figures four times. Todorovic is second on the team in scoring, averaging 16.2 points per game on a team-best 55.8 percent shooting from the field. Todorovic also averages 7.0 rebounds per game.
Wurtz leads the T-Birds on the glass, averaging 10.4 rebounds per game. Wurtz has compiled two double-doubles this season and is averaging 12.6 points per game on 43.8 percent shooting from the floor.
Washington, Makela and Jankovic are also scoring in double-figures for Cloud County at 12.2, 10.8, and 10.6 points per game, respectively.
Seward County enters KJCCC play with a 5-1 record and is coming off a 92-40 win over Dallas College Cedar Valley at the New Mexico Junior College Classic in Hobbs, New Mexico on November 15. The Saints are led by sophomore guard Avery Marchino who averages 22.8 points per game and is shooting 41.4 percent from three-point range.
Cloud County and Seward County split their season series last season, with the T-Birds defeating the Saints 57-53 in Concordia before Seward County won 68-41 in Liberal. In Cloud County's win on November 20, 2024, the T-Birds edged the Saints in points off turnovers (20-17) and points in the paint (26-10), but Seward County outrebounded Cloud County 45-37, including 25-14 on the offensive glass.
