The Cloud County Community College men's indoor track and field team recorded two national qualifying marks at the inaugural Thane Baker Invitational at Kansas State University in Manhattan, Kansas on Saturday, January 18.
Freshman Mory Diop delivered a national qualifying performance in the men's high jump, clearing 6'7" to finish in second place. He was closely followed by sophomore
Trey Collins with a personal-best, national qualifying height of 6'7".
The T-Birds had several standout performances, with five other athletes placing third in their respective events -
Gelasa Abdisa in the 3,000M Run,
Bradley Nkosi in the 60M Hurdles,
Jordan Settles in the Pole Vault,
Josh Shelly in the Weight Throw, and
Abdelaziz Benbrahim in the 600 Yard Run.
