Natassia Burrell earned Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference (KJCCC) Women's Outdoor Field Athlete of the Week, the conference announced Tuesday, April 28.
Burrell threw a personal best mark in the Women's Discus at 160'9" for a second-place finish at last week's Fort Hays State University Alex Francis Classic.
Burrell also took fourth in both the Women's Shot Put and Women's Hammer Throw at the event. The freshman is qualified for the NJCAA Division I Outdoor Track and Field Championships in all throwing events for this season.
Burrell and the T-Birds head to Arkansas City, Kansas to compete at the 2026 NJCAA Region 6/Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference Outdoor Track & Field Championships on April 30-May 2.
