Cloud County Community College freshman Scholastica Herman has been named the Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference (KJCCC) Women's Outdoor Track Athlete of the Week, the conference announced on Tuesday, April 21.

Herman earned the honor for the second time this season.

Herman won the Women's 800M Run at the Emporia State University Relays while adding a third place finish in the 1,500M and running the second leg of the Cloud County 4x400M relay team. Both of Herman's times were season bests and rank in the top-20 nationally on the NJCAA Division I Outdoor Track and Field performance list this season.

Cloud County will compete again this Thursday, April 23 in the Fort Hays State University Alex Francis Classic. It is a one-day event in Hays, Kansas.
