Cloud County Community College sophomore
Mory Diop has been named the Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference (KJCCC) Men's Indoor Field Athlete of the Week following his performance at the Frank Sevigne Husker Invitational in Lincoln, Nebraska, the conference announced on Tuesday, February 10.
Diop jumped a personal-best, national qualifying height of 6'9" to capture a third place finish in the Men's High Jump. The jump moves him to number seven in the NJCAA currently.
Diop and the T-Birds will travel to Topeka, Kansas for the Washburn University Ichabod Invitational at the Sneed Indoor Athletic Facility on Friday, February 13 and Saturday, February 14.
