Cloud County Community College freshman
Natassia Burrell recorded one event win and posted two NJCAA national qualifying marks at the Charlie Foster Classic hosted by the University of Nebraska-Kearney on Friday, January 30.
Burrell won the Women's Shot Put with a national qualifying toss of 46'10.75". Freshman
Zoey Sudbeck picked up a third place finish in the Women's Shot Put with a toss of 40'11.75".
Burrell also earned an NJCAA qualifying mark in the Women's Weight Throw, taking third place with a throw of 53'11". Sudbeck grabbed a tenth place finish with a throw of 41'9.75".
Freshman

Carlie Carlgren also picked up two top-10 finishes each at the meet, which featured a mix of NJCAA, NAIA and NCAA Division II schools. Koehn placed sixth in the Women's 200M Dash in a time of 28.77. Calrgren posted a sixth place finish in the Women's 60M Hurdles in a time of 9.55. Koehn was seventh in the 60M Hurdles in 9.91. Carlgren capped the meet with an eighth place finish in the Women's Long Jump with a leap of 15'4.25".
Cloud County will split its team to two different meets next week, with a small group heading to the Fred Beile Track and Field Classic at Doane University in Crete, Nebraska on February 7, and the majority of the team competing February 6 and 7 at the Frank Sevigne Husker Invitational in Lincoln, Nebraska.
