The Cloud County Community College women's indoor track and field squad completed the 2026 NJCAA Indoor Track & Field Championships in Topeka, Kansas with five top-three finishes and seven athletes receiving All-America honors.
Freshman thrower
Natassia Burrell recorded a national runner-up performance in the Women's Shot Put with a toss of 50'4".
Burrell later added a third place finish in the Women's Weight Throw with a throw of 57'0".
After missing this year's NJCAA Region 6/Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference Indoor Track & Field Championships due to injury, sophomore
Maimuna Jallow bounced back by turning in two third-place finishes at the national meet. Jallow earned a third place finish in the Women's 60M with a time of 7.26. Jallow added a third place finish in the Women's 200M with a time of 23.46.
Sophomore
Tahlia Lienert competed in the Women's Pentathlon where she earned a third place finish with 3,265 total points.
Lienert also competed on the Women's 4x800M relay team with freshmen
McKenzie Baker,
Arihanna Koehn and
Maureen Jepchirchir, finishing sixth overall with a time of 9:39.85.
Freshman
Scholastica Herman earned All-America honors in two events. Herman scored a fifth place finish in the Women's 1000M Run with a time of 2:56.38. Herman rounded out her weekend with a sixth place finish in the Women's 600M Run with a time of 1:33.83.
