Cloud County Community College freshman Brayden Hill has earned the No. 9 national ranking at 285 lbs. in the latest NJCAA Men's Wrestling Rankings, released by Open Mat.

The freshman from Garden City, Kansas is 22-7 on the season and has three individual tournament wins. Hill secured the top spot at the Maverick Open hosted by Northern Oklahoma College-Tonkawa on November 8, followed by a first place finish in the amateur division at the Younes Hospitality Open hosted by the University of Nebraska-Kearney on November 22, and a first place finish at the Conner/Openheim Doane Open in Crete, Nebraska on December 6, hosted by Doane University.

Hill has eleven victories coming via pin fall, nine by decision, and two technical fall wins.

Cloud County returns to action on January 9 when the team will head to Miami, Oklahoma for the annual National Junior College Athletic Association Coaches Association Duals, hosted by Northeastern Oklahoma A&M.
