CONCORDIA, Kan. - Due to recent snowfall that has left unplayable field conditions in Goodland, Kansas Tuesday's Cloud County Community College softball season-opening doubleheader with Northwest Kansas Technical College has been moved to the Concordia Sports Complex in Concordia, Kansas.
The change in location was made Monday following confirmation of all logistical needs to allow the doubleheader to still be played on Tuesday, with first pitch of game one set for 1 PM. In addition to the change between the T-Birds and Mavericks, Cloud County has also made a change to their upcoming weekend schedule in Oklahoma as a previously scheduled Friday doubleheader with Northern Oklahoma-Enid will now be played on the back end of CCCC's four-game weekend on Sunday, February 26th.
Following this week's action, Cloud County is scheduled to play their first games of the season at the Cloud County Softball Field on Wednesday, March 1st with a 2 PM doubleheader against Central Community College. If any additional changes to the Cloud County athletics schedule occur throughout the semester, all changes will be announced as they occur on the Cloud County athletics website (
www.cloudtbirds.com) along with the Cloud County Athletic social media pages on Facebook (
