The Cloud County Community College men's track and field team capped off the 2026 outdoor season with two individual national champions and six All-American performances at the 2026 NJCAA Division I Outdoor Track & Field Championships in Hobbs, New Mexico.

Overall, the T-Birds placed 12th with 29.33 points.

Sophomore Bailey Burns claimed a national title in the Men's Long Jump with a leap of 25'7."

Sophomore Alpha Mpofu also spearheaded the T-Birds with a national title in the Men's 400M Dash, finishing first with a time of 46.04. A day prior, Mpofu set a new Cloud County program record with a time of 45.32 in the preliminaries.

Freshman Andy Cooper tallied a fifth place finish in the Men's Decathlon with 6,091 total points.

Freshman Conor Matthews secured a fifth place finish in the Men's Triple Jump with a leap of 49'2.25".

Freshman Kacper Kurzewski placed seventh in the Men's Pole Vault at a height of 14'11.5".

Sophomore Mory Diop tied for eighth place in the Men's High Jump at a mark of 6'7.5".
