The Cloud County Community College men's track and field team traveled to Hays, Kansas on Thursday, April 23 for the 2026 Alex Francis Classic at Fort Hays State University, the final tune-up before the 2026 NJCAA Region 6/Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference Outdoor Track & Field Championships.
The Cloud County Men's 4x400M Relay team of freshman
Timmy Oladimeji,
Sonycko Ilet,
Nicholas Johnson and
Keon Williams earned a first place finish with a time of 3:21.63.
Freshman
Gage Taylor secured a first place finish in the Men's 400M Hurdles with a time of 54.38. Freshman
Jabari Branche placed fifth with a time of 56.06.
Williams captured a third place finish in the Men's 400M Run with a time of 48.34. Branche placed ninth overall with a time of 50.09.
Ilet recorded a fourth place finish in the Men's 200M Dash with a time of 21.51.
Also on the track, freshman
Daiquan Monteith placed fifth in the Men's 110M Hurdles with a time of 15.76. Sophomore
Cody Sharp was tenth overall with a time of 17.87.
Johnson scored a seventh place finish in the Men's 800M Run with a time of 1:57.02.
Freshman
Davis Miltner picked up a ninth place finish in the Men's 1,500M Run with a time of 4:14.23.
In field events, freshman
Jaymion Jones posted a second place finish in the Men's Triple Jump with a jump of 45'10.5". Freshman
Evan Carr followed in third place with a leap of 42'5.5".
Jones added a fourth place finish in the Men's Long Jump at a distance of 23'0.75"'. Monteith followed in fifth place at 22'8.5", while Carr placed sixth individually at 21'2.5".
Jones also captured a fifth place finish in the Men's High Jump at a height of 6'4.75". Sophomore
Mory Diop followed in sixth place at a height of 6'2.75".
Freshman
Kacper Kurzewski landed a fourth place finish in the Men's Pole Vault at a height of 15'5.5".
In throwing events, sophomore
Braylon Bittel recorded a fourth place finish in the Men's Shot Put with a toss of 44'9.75". Sophomore
Jarell Yardin placed eighth overall with a throw of 34'4.25", while freshman
Jadrian Riley was tenth individually with a toss of 32'8.5".
Bittel added a ninth place finish in the Men's Hammer Throw with a throw of 133'0".
Yardin posted a tenth place finish in the Men's Discus with a toss of 120'5".
Sophomore
DJ Holman placed fifth in the Men's Javelin Throw with a throw of 169'0".
Cloud County will next compete at the 2026 NJCAA Region 6/Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference Outdoor Track & Field Championships on April 30-May 2 in Arkansas City, Kansas.
