The Cloud County Community College men's track and field team took part in the 2026 Midwest Classic and Multi at Emporia State University on Thursday, April 2 and Friday, April 3.

The T-Bird Men's 4x100M relay team of freshmen Trystan Green, Kamryn Jones and Keon Williams and sophomore Bailey Burns took first with a time of 41.15.

Burns placed first in the Men's Long Jump with a leap of 23'10". Freshman Jaymion Jones finished fourth with a jump of 23'0.75", while freshman Daiquan Monteith finished 10th with a mark of 21'6.25".

Burns added a fourth place finish in the Men's 100M Dash with a time of 10.49. Jones clocked a time of 10.62 to place eighth individually.

Sophomore Alpha Mpofu posted a time of 47.06 to place first in the Men's 400M Dash. Sophomore Barafa Abdulazis crossed the line at 48.13 to finish third, while Williams placed tenth with a time of 49.74.

Sophomore Abdelaziz Benbrahim won the Men's 800M Run with a time of 1:55.33.

Freshman Kacper Kurzewski tied for first place in the Men's Pole Vault at a height of 15'1".

Freshman Conor Matthews earned a first place finish in the Men's Triple Jump with a leap of 47'5.75". Sophomore Evan Carr placed fourth at a mark of 42'2".

Freshman Andy Cooper and sophomore Cody Sharp competed in the Men's Decathlon. Cooper was the runner-up with 6,109 total points, while Sharp placed seventh with 5,187 total points.

Freshman Gage Taylor posted a fifth place finish in the Men's 400M Hurdles with a time of 57.61.

Green and Jones tied for sixth place in the Men's 200M Dash with times of 21.96. Freshman Jabari Branche was ninth with a time of 22.47.

Monteith recorded a sixth place finish in the Men's 110M Hurdles with a time of 15.83.

Jones jumped 6'7" to place seventh in the Men's High Jump.

In throwing events, sophomore Braylon Bittel placed eighth in the Men's Discus with a throw of 150'3". Sophomore Andrew Bowman finished in tenth place in the Men's Javelin Throw with a throw of 192'5".

Cloud County will next compete in the 2026 Grizzly Gold Invitational on Friday, April 10 and Saturday, April 11, hosted by Butler Community College.
