Box Score 2 The Cloud County Community College baseball team had 41 runs and 13 home runs in its two wins against Pratt Community College in a Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference (KJCCC) doubleheader on Saturday, March 7 at Stanion Field in Pratt, Kansas. The T-Birds, winners of 12 straight, have improved to 18-1 overall and 4-0 in KJCCC play.
Sophomore
Cole Linton pitched a complete game on the mound in game one, guiding the T-Birds to a 15-1 victory in five innings. Linton (5-0) allowed three hits and only one run while striking out eight.
Freshman outfielder
Kellan Burke tallied two home runs and a season-high seven RBI. Sophomores
Kaden Budke and
Vasya Seymour also homered in the win. Seymour and freshman
Nolan Green collected two RBI apiece. Sophomore
Lucas Laukkanen and redshirt freshman
Simon Baker had two hits each. Laukkanen had a triple and scored three runs.
The T-Birds scored in every frame, with the big blows coming in the second and third innings when they scored five and six runs, respectively.
The T-Birds tallied 15 total hits and nine home runs in game two, with four players registering multiple hits in a 26-4 win. Cloud County broke the program record for runs in a single game with 26, clearing the previous record of 25 set in 1988 and 2024.
Burke and Laukkanen both hit two home runs. Burke once again drove in seven runs and scored four times, while Laukkanen totaled five RBI and scored twice.

London Dingwell also went yard in the contest.
Dingwell added a double while freshman
Brody Seidl had a double and scored four runs.
Sophomore
Ben Soke earned the win, throwing two innings of one-hit ball with no runs in relief. Freshman
Gage Gannon also throw a scoreless inning out of the bullpen. Sophomore
Kai Rempel gave up four runs, two earned, on three hits with three walks in four innings. Rempel recorded five strikeouts.
Cloud County will host Hastings College JV for a single nine-inning game on Monday, March 9. First pitch at Lee Doyen Field is set for 2 pm.
