The Cloud County Community College men's track and field team turned in another strong weekend at the Mark A. Phillips Tiger Classic in Arkansas City, Kansas on Saturday, March 28, piling up four event wins and 17 top-five finishes at the meet.
Sophomore
Barafa Abdulazis earned a win in the Men's 400M Dash with a time of 47.62. Freshman
Keon Williams added a runner-up finish in the Men's 400M Dash with a time of 47.95.

Kamryn Jones and
Zeb Schultze on the Men's 4x400M Relay team that claimed a first place finish with a time of 3:18.57. Williams and freshmen teammates
Trystan Green,
Nicholas Johnson and
Gage Taylor placed second with a time of 3:20.99, while sophomores
Evan Carr and
Mory Diop and freshmen
Jesus Baltazar and
Daiquan Monteith finished in tenth place with a time of 3:44.72.
Freshman
Davis Miltner added a win in the Men's 3000M Steeplechase, placing first with a time of 10:09.45.
Sophomore
Bailey Burns took first place in the Men's Long Jump with a leap of 23'11". Freshman
Conor Matthews placed third with a mark of 23'2". Carr was seventh individually with a leap of 20'4.5", while sophomore
Cody Sharp landed in tenth place at 19'8.75".
On the track, Taylor captured a runner-up finish in the Men's 400M Hurdles with a time of 56.92.
The Cloud County men's 4x100M Relay team of Green, Jones, Branche and Burns placed third overall with a time of 42.00.
Monteith finished third in the Men's 110M Hurdles with a time of 15.68, while Sharp placed eighth with a time of 18.27.
Jones recorded a fourth place finish in the Men's 100M Dash with a time of 10.63.
Schultze delivered a fourth place finish in the Men's 800M Run with a time of 2:00.02. Baltazar placed tenth with a time of 2:04.30.
Burns posted a seventh place finish in the Men's 200M Dash with a time of 21.69.
Johnson secured a ninth place finish in the Men's 1500M Run with a time of 4:16.79.
The T-Birds also made noise in the field events, led by freshman
Kacper Kurzewski's runner-up finish in the Men's Pole Vault with a vault of 14'5.5". Freshman
Andy Cooper ended up ninth place at a height of 11'0.25".
Diop recorded a sixth place finish in the Men's High Jump at a height of 6'1.5".
In the throws, Cloud County turned in a strong collective performance in the Men's Discus. Sophomore
Braylon Bittel earned a third place finish with a throw of 147'0". Sophomore
Asa Berry picked up a fifth place finish with a throw of 145'11", while freshman
Jadrian Riley followed in sixth place with a mark of 142'8".
Berry added a third place finish in the Men's Hammer Throw with a throw of 157'11". Bittel placed ninth with a toss of 133'8".
Bittel also posted a fifth place finish in the Men's Shot Put with a toss of 45'3.75".
Cooper finished seventh overall in the Men's Javelin with a throw of 129'9".
Cloud County will send athletes to the Midwest Classic and Multis at Emporia State University on Friday, April 3 and Saturday, April 4.
