The Cloud County Community College baseball team is ranked No. 23 in the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Division I Baseball Rankings Presented by Netting Professionals.

Cloud County is off to a 31-11 start with a 15-5 record in Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference play. The T-Birds have won four of their first five conference series.

Cloud County has won eight straight and 11 of its last 12 games. The T-Birds are coming off a four-game non-conference road sweep over Highland Community College last week. The T-Birds outscored the Scotties 53-14 in the series.

Cloud County ranks fourth in the Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference in batting average with a team average of .334. The T-Birds are second in the conference in runs scored with 404, third in the conference in extra-base hits with 154, third in home runs with 48, fourth in team ERA at 4.86, and second in the conference in strikeouts with 341.

Cloud County will play four games in Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference play against Butler Community College this week, beginning with a doubleheader on Thursday, April 17 at 1 pm at Lee Doyen Field in Concordia. The final two games in the series will be played Saturday, April 19 at McDonald Stadium in El Dorado, Kansas.
