The Cloud County Community College women's cross country team is set to compete in the 2025 NJCAA Division I Women's Cross Country National Championships on Saturday, November 8 in Fort Dodge, Iowa, hosted by Iowa Central Community College. The women's 5k will begin at 1 pm.
This year's women's and men's national championships will consist of 1,378 athletes representing 251 teams from across the country. All the action will take place on the Lakeside Golf Course in Fort Dodge.
The Cloud County women's cross country team is coming off a third place team finish at the 2025 Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference/NJCAA Region 6 Cross Country Championships on October 24 at Meadow Lake Golf Course in Colby, Kansas. Cloud County posted a score of 72 and had three runners finish in the top-10 to earn All-Region 6 distinction.
Sophomore
Nontokozo Ncube crossed the finish first for the T-Birds by placing fifth individually in the 5k race with a time of 18:39.34, earning her second All-Region honors.
Sophomore
Mercy Angaamchaab followed in seventh place in 18:44.01 and received All-Region honors for the second time.
Freshman
Maureen Jepchirchir placed ninth overall with a time of 19:25.83 and was named All-Region.
Freshman
McKenzie Baker claimed 23rd place with a time of 20:38.65. Sophomore
Rafiatu Nuhu was 30th with a time of 21:12.43, while freshman
Jade Williams finished in 61st place with a time of 23:44.22.
