COLBY, Kan. – Looking to keep momentum rolling following a four-set upset win on Wednesday night, the Cloud County Community College volleyball team would see a trip to Colby lead to a 25-16, 25-17, 26-24 defeat inside the Colby Events Center on Saturday, September 2nd.
Suffering just their second loss of the season, Cloud County is now 9-2 overall and 1-1 in the Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference while the Trojans bounce back from a five-set defeat to Seward County this past Wednesday to improve to 7-3 overall and move to 1-1 in the KJCCC.

A two-match week for the T-Birds will begin at home with a 6:30 PM home tilt against Hutchinson Community College on Wednesday, September 6th. The Blue Dragons currently hold a 6-2 overall record and are 2-0 in the KJCCC following a five-set win over Seward County on Saturday. HCC is one of two teams in the conference to still hold an unblemished conference record at 2-0 along with Barton who is 1-0 in KJCCC play.
