CONCORDIA, Kan. - Due to recent snowfall across North Central Kansas, this Sunday's Cloud County Community College home baseball and softball doubleheaders have been moved to neutral sites.
The Cloud County baseball team's four-game series with Colby Community College will now take place on Sunday, March 13th and Monday, March 14th with all four games being played at the Trusler Sports Complex on the campus of Emporia State University with doubleheaders beginning at 1 PM each day. At this time, there is no live video scheduled to take place on Sunday, March 13th while Colby Community College will be producing a live stream of both of the games on Monday, March 14th. Additionally, the originally scheduled CCCC baseball road game at Iowa Western Community College on Tuesday, March 15th will now be played at Lee Doyen Field in Concordia, Kansas. The single, nine-inning game will begin at 3 PM as both the T-Birds and Reivers are ranked in the latest NJCAA Division I Top-20 Poll.
As for the Cloud County softball team, this Sunday's home doubleheader against Northwest Kansas Technical College will now take place at Salina South High School in Salina, Kansas. With the location change and due to daylight savings time being put into effect Saturday evening/Sunday morning, both the T-Birds and Mavericks have decided to move the start of game one back one hour to 1 PM. Due to the change in location, a live video stream of the contests will not be available.
