CONCORDIA, Kan. - Recent rainfall in the Hutchinson, Kansas area has forced Saturday's Cloud County baseball road doubleheader at Hutchinson to be pushed back 24 hours to Sunday, April 18th at 1 p.m.
The postponement comes after nearly half an inch of rain made it's way through the Hutchinson area Thursday evening and Friday during the day leaving the field conditions at Hobart-Detter Field in less than optimal playing condition. The now Sunday doubleheader will be games three and four between the Blue Dragons and T-Birds as CCCC took game one 6-2 on Thursday before falling by a score of 6-4 in game two.
Any fans wanting to attend Sunday's games in Hutchinson should be aware that due to COVID-19 protocols set forth by the Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference and HCC that attendance will be limited to the first 125 fans through the gates at Hobart-Detter Field. Gates will open at 12:30 p.m. (30 minutes prior to the start of game one) and attendance will be cut off once 25 percent of capacity has been reached.
