Hilta Ramos

Hilta Ramos is beginning her third season as the head volleyball coach at Cloud County Community College in 2025. In her first two seasons, Ramos has one top five finish in the Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference West Division, one appearance in the NJCAA Region 6 Plains District Division I Volleyball Tournament, and has coached five players that were selected to the All-Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference West Division Volleyball teams.

Cloud County Community College Athletic Director Matt Bechard named Ramos as the 12th head volleyball coach in school history in 2023. Prior to that, Ramos served three-years as an assistant coach at Cloud County for Hall of Fame coach Deb Monzon.

Originally from Minas Gerais, Brazil, Ramos came to the United States in 2013 to study and play volleyball at Cloud County. During her one season as a T-Bird, Ramos played in 26 matches and recorded 226 kills and a .263 attack percentage. She later completed her playing career at Oklahoma Wesleyan University. A three-year player for the Eagles, Ramos was named a 2016 All-Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference Honorable Mention selection following her senior season where she averaged 2.09 kills per set and had 64 total blocks.

Ramos graduated from Oklahoma Wesleyan University in 2017 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Sports Recreation Leadership before spending one year serving as an assistant coach at Independence Community College and two years as the assistant coach at Southwest Baptist University in Bolivar, Missouri. While at Southwest Baptist University, Ramos completed her Master's degree in Athletic Administration, and most recently earned her Master's of Business Administration from Kansas Wesleyan University.

Ramos resides in Concordia, Kansas with her husband, Ricky Ramos.
