Matt Grantham joined coach Kyle Pugh's staff as an assistant men's basketball coach prior to the start of the 2024-2025 season.

Grantham, a graduate of East Carolina University, spent the 2023-2024 year as the head men's basketball coach at Lenoir Community College in Kinston, North Carolina.

Grantham's other coaching experience includes assistant coaching stints at the University of Mount Olive, Queens University of Charlotte, Catawba Valley Community College, and North Carolina Wesleyan College.
