Box Score The Cloud County Community College volleyball team dropped a five set heartbreaker to Butler Community College in Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference (KJCCC) play on Saturday September 26 inside Arley Bryant Gymnasium.

With the loss, Cloud County falls to 7-8 overall and 1-5 in KJCCC action while Butler improves to 7-9 on the season and 2-5 in KJCCC play.
Cloud County took the first two sets, 25-21, 25-18, but the Grizzlies evened things up with a 25-19 win in set three and a 25-16 victory in set four.
The match came down to the fifth set which the Grizzlies took, 15-13.
Freshman outside hitters
Samira Bousri and
Dora Kuburovic both led Cloud County with 17 kills apiece. Bousri hit a team-best .297 and finished with 18 digs and two service aces, while Kuburovic added 10 digs, a career-high two blocks and two service aces.
Freshman outside hitter
Karina Castellar recorded four kills, five digs, one service ace and a block.
Freshman setter
Giulia Todesco handed out 38 assists and added 11 digs and a service ace.Â
Freshman libero
Addison Allen tallied a career-high 13 digs, while sophomore libero
Brooke Lougheed finished with seven digs.
The T-Birds head to Pratt, Kansas on Wednesday, September 30 for their first KJCCC matchup with the Pratt Beavers this season. Pratt is currently 0-14 overall and 0-7 in KJCCC play. First serve is scheduled for 6 pm from the Dennis Lesh Sports Arena. The contest will be streamed live on the
