Box Score The Cloud County Community College volleyball team dropped a Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference (KJCCC) home match on Wednesday, September 23, falling to No. 14 Dodge City Community College in straight-sets, 16-25, 11-25, 21-25.

Freshman outside hitter Samira Bousri led the T-Birds with nine kills, four digs and an ace. Freshman outside hitter Karina Castellar added four kills and four digs, while freshman middle hitters Bella Ikard and Kynlee Hamel chipped in three kills each.

Freshman setter Giulia Todesco provided 18 assists and six digs.

Defensively, freshman libero Addison Allen had a team-high eight digs.

With the loss, Cloud County has slipped to 7-7 overall and 1-4 in KJCCC play.

Up next, the T-Birds will square off against the Butler Community College Grizzlies. Butler has lost four straight to sit at 6-9 on the season and 1-5 in KJCCC action. First serve is set for 2 pm Saturday, September 26 from Arley Bryant Gymnasium in Concordia. The match will stream live on the T-Bird Sports Network.
