Box Score The Cloud County Community College volleyball team fell to Seward County Community College, 3-1, Monday, September 14 at Arley Bryant Gymnasium in Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference (KJCCC) play.
The T-Birds moved to 7-5 on the season and 1-2 in KJCCC action with the loss by set scores of 18-25, 16-25, 25-19, 21-25.
Freshman outside hitter
Samira Bousri led the T-Birds with 13 kills, eight digs and two service aces. Freshman outside hitter
Karina Castellar finished with 10 kills, two digs and a block. Freshman middle hitter
Kynlee Hamel added six kills and two service aces. Freshman setter
Giulia Todesco recorded 30 assists to go with five digs. Sophomore libero

Baylen Arnold each finished with four digs. Sophomore middle hitter
Julieanne Sandoval added two blocks to go with three kills.
The T-Birds continue KJCCC play with a road match at No. 8 Colby Community College on Saturday, September 19 at the Colby Event Center. First serve is set for 2 pm. The match will be streamed by
Colby Community College Athletics.
The Trojans improved to 13-3 overall and 4-0 in KJCCC play with a five-set road win at Hutchinson Monday night. This week, Colby jumped eight spots from No. 16 to inside the top-10 in the latest NJCAA Division I Volleyball Rankings. Colby will host Seward County Wednesday, September 16 before matching up with Cloud County this weekend.
