Box Score The Cloud County Community College men's basketball team recorded 12 steals and held visiting Fort Hays Tech Northwest to more than 15 points below their season scoring average in an 81-60 home defeat of the Tigers in Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference (KJCCC) play on Saturday, February 21.
The T-Birds (16-11, 11-10 KJCCC) dominated in the paint early while adding five first-half three-pointers to grab a 40-26 halftime lead. Sophomore guard
DJ Holloway sparked the offense with five first-half steals and nine points with three made three-pointers through the first 20 minutes of action.
Cloud County never looked back after halftime, limiting the Tigers to 10-of-34 (29.4 percent) shooting from the field in the second half.
The T-Birds were efficient overall, shooting 28-of-57 (49.1 percent) from the floor, 8-of-20 (40.0 percent) from behind the arc and 17-of-25 (68.0 percent) from the free-throw line. Cloud County outrebounded Fort Hays Tech Northwest by a 50-32 margin.
Cloud County forced 15 turnovers with 12 steals, the team's second most steals in a conference game this season behind the 15 steals they recorded against Pratt on January 3, 2026.
Sophomore forward
Elidjah Savane led Cloud County with 17 points on 5-of-9 shooting while going 6-of-6 from the free-throw line. Savane, making his third start of the season, also pulled down eight rebounds and recorded three steals.
Joining Savane in double-figures was redshirt freshman forward
Manasseh Stackhouse, who had 16 points on 6-of-11 shooting to go with a team-high nine rebounds.
Holloway poured in 15 points to go with a team-high seven steals, six rebounds and three assists.

Syncere Burnette added 10 points, five rebounds and four assists.
Cloud County will close out the home portion of its 2025-2026 schedule on Wednesday, February 25 in an 8 pm contest against Garden City Community College.
