Cloud County Community College freshman Natassia Burrell has earned the program's second weekly conference honor of the week, being named Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference (KJCCC) Women's Field Athlete of the Week, the conference announced Tuesday, February 10.

Burrell recorded a pair of strong performances at the Frank Sevigne Husker Invitational in Lincoln, Nebraska last weekend. Burrell captured a sixth place finish in the Shot Put with a national qualifying throw of 47'8.5", and a tenth place finish in the Weight Throw with a throw of 58'1.25". Burrell improved her shot put mark to number three in the NJCAA, while moving up to number two in the NJCAA in the weight throw.

The T-Birds will now get ready for the Washburn University Ichabod Invitational on Friday, February 13 and Saturday, February 14.
