The Cloud County Community College men's basketball team will play at Garden City Community College in Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference (KJCCC) play on Saturday, January 10. Tip from Conestoga Arena in Garden City, Kansas is at 4 pm and the game will be streamed live by the Southwest Kansas Sports Network.

Cloud County (8-7, 3-6 KJCCC) is coming off a 92-73 road win over Fort Hays Tech Northwest in conference play on January 7. Four Cloud County players scored in double-figures. Redshirt freshman forward Manasseh Stackhouse posted a season-high 26 points on 10-of-19 shooting from the field, including knocking down three treys. Stackhouse added 10 rebounds for his third double-double of the season, including his second in the team's last three games. Sophomore guard DJ Holloway posted his first double-double of the season, tying a season-high with 22 points while leading the team with 12 rebounds. Holloway hit 7-of-12 from the field, 3-of-5 from behind the arc, and 5-of-6 shots from the foul line. He also added four steals. Freshman guard Kam Williams played a season-high 30 minutes and finished with 13 points and a season-best four rebounds. Sophomore guard Syncere Burnette notched his first career double-double, scoring 11 points while adding a team-high 10 assists. Burnette also tallied five rebounds and four steals.

Garden City (10-5, 5-4 KJCCC) is receiving votes in the latest NJCAA Division I Men's Basketball Rankings. The Broncbusters saw a two-game winning streak snapped with a 92-83 road loss to No. 19 Dodge City Community College on January 7. Sophomore guard Desean Lewis led the Broncbusters with 14 points, while freshman guard Xavier Johnson provided a major spark off the bench with 20 points and seven rebounds. Freshman guard Zaire Lott added 19 points, knocking down four three-pointers.

Garden City has won three in a row and five of its last six games in its series history with Cloud County. Garden City swept the regular season series last year, including claiming an 85-73 win at home on January 13, 2025.

Cloud County averages 87.2 points per game and has a +9.9 scoring margin. The T-Birds pull down 43.8 rebounds per contest with a +9.7 rebound margin. Cloud County is making 45.6 percent from the field, including 29.5 percent from three-point range. The T-Birds also average 13.2 assists, 10.6 steals and 3.3 blocked shots per game.

Stackhouse leads Cloud County with 12.7 points per game. He has scored in double-figures nine times this season, including two games with 20 points or more. Stackhouse also leads Cloud County with 7.0 rebounds per outing.

Savane is scoring 11.1 points per game on a team-best 58.5 percent shooting from the field. Savane's 6.4 rebounds per game are second on the team.

Walker is averaging 10.4 points per game on 57.4 percent shooting from the floor. He also pulls down 4.3 rebounds per game.

Burnette leads Cloud County with 3.9 assists and 1.8 steals per game. Burnette is fourth on the team in scoring at 9.2 points per game with 19 made three-pointers.

Holloway has scored in double-figures in four consecutive games. Holloway is averaging 8.5 points, 4.0 rebounds, 1.7 steals and 1.6 assists per contest.
