The Cloud County Community College men's basketball team hits the road for two games beginning at Fort Hays Tech Northwest in Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference (KJCCC) play on Wednesday, January 7. Tip from Max L. Jones Fieldhouse in Goodland, Kansas is set for 7:30 pm (MST)/8:30 pm (CST) and the game will be streamed by the
Tech Tigers Sports Network.
Cloud County (7-7, 2-6 KJCCC) is coming off a 95-73 win against Pratt Community College on January 3. It marked the first victory for the T-Birds since November 19. The game also marked the fifth time that Cloud County has scored 90 points or more this season, and the second team the T-Birds have won a KJCCC game by 20 points or more this season.

Syncere Burnette led all scorers with 16 points. He also led the team in assists and steals with seven each. Sophomore guard

D'ontez Walker totaled 11 points apiece. Holloway hauled in six rebounds to go with three assists and two steals. Savane added five rebounds.

Fort Hays Tech Northwest (7-6, 3-5 KJCCC) is looking to bounce back following a 76-74 loss at No. 19 Dodge City Community College on January 3. The Tigers are 1-2 at home this season.
Cloud County has won seven of its last ten meetings with Fort Hays Tech Northwest, including an 87-86 road win in their last trip to Goodland on November 30, 2024.
Kuel Akot made a three-pointer with 0.8 seconds left to lift the T-Birds to the win.
